We raise American Guinea hogs and offer a whole hog for sale, which results in approximately 45-50lbs total of meat. As a heritage breed, the cuts will be smaller than what you might be able to pick up at the grocery store. This breed considered a great option for a family that needs a reasonable amount of meat without consuming all of your freezer space. With a whole hog purchase, you will receive: Ground pork, ground sausage, pork belly, unsmoked sliced ham, uncooked ham roast, boston butt, shoulder roast, pork medallions (sliced center cut boneless loin), ribs, bone-in pork chops, unsmoked ham hocks. We raise our chickens in our pastures. We move their house to fresh grass 1-2 times per day and supplement their diet with crumble feed. We raise small batches (<30 at a time), so that there is no over crowding and each bird gets access to fresh pasture. Next orders will be available Nov 2022. We are poultry exempt operators with the state of NC, which means we are inspected by the NC Department of Agriculture and are allowed to process up to 1,000 poultry per year on our farm. This means our birds are able to go from the pasture to processing in less than one minute, resulting in the least amount of stress possible. Our customers tell us over and over our chicken is the best chicken they have ever had.
